July 14th 2008 Seeking Professional Help for the Dog Wash The Montreal SPCA will be holding its annual Dog Wash on Sunday, August 3rd. We are looking for professional groomers, veterinarians and vet technicians to volunteer for the event. We need 2 veterinarians and 1 vet technician to micro-chip dogs and cats. We also need 8 professional groomers, veterinarians or vet technicians to do nail clipping and ear and eye cleaning (dogs only). Volunteers will be able to promote their vet clinics or grooming salon at the event. Over 500 people attend the Dog Wash each year and the event receives media exposure. The Dog Wash will be held at Mondou, pet supply store, 10 315, Lajeunesse, Ahuntsic (corner Fleury) and at the park adjacent to the store. Running time is from 9 am to 3 pm. Proceeds raised by this fundraiser will go to providing care for the animals of the shelter.
