CSPCA holds dog wash to raise needed funds
Montreal, Quebec, August 3, 2004 – In collaboration with sponsors Mondou and Q92fm, the Canadian Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Canadian SPCA) is pleased to invite dog owners to bring their dogs to a dog wash at the Mondou store located at 10400 Renaude-Lapointe in Anjou from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, August 21, 2004. Funds raised from this initiative will be used for the Canadian SPCA’s Grooming Volunteer Program. As a result of this program, dogs at the animal shelter will be able to be groomed making them more presentable and appealing to potential adopters therefore increasing their chances of being adopted.
A minimum donation of $10 is requested for a dog wash plus there will be professional groomers on site for ear and eye cleaning for $3 as well as nail clipping for $5. Also, canine behavior experts will be available for free advice to pet owners. The sponsors of this event will be giving away prizes. Many volunteers will be on hand to ensure the success of this event. This event will not take place if it is raining.
