• If you find a stray animal, bring it to the nearest municipal pound, as the animal could belong to someone in the area.
• It is imperative that you not keep a stray animal for several days instead of bringing it to the pound because the owner may be looking for his lost animal at the pound.
• If no one comes forward to claim the animal, it could be possible for you to adopt this animal, provided you say so when you bring it to the pound.
