helped find new homes for an average of 18,000 animals each year
Recent
Interventions :
- We helped
save 500 animals during the ice storm of 1998.
- We helped
save 120 animals when the Saguenay region was flooded.
- We succeeded
in having euthanasia by electrocution abolished in Drummondville in
1999.
- We sterilise
all animals put up for adoption at the S.P.C.A.
- We succeeded
in having euthanasia by shotgun abolished in Mirabel in 2001.
- We rescued
160 animals in Ste-Sophie in 2001.
- We often
seize and treat abused and exploited animals.
